West Virginia football’s annual Gold-Blue spring football game is back after a one-year covid hiatus.
The game will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.
The stadium will operate at approximately 25% capacity as part of health, safety and wellness measures being implemented in response to the covid-19 pandemic.
All fans are asked to self-evaluate before arriving at the stadium.
Face coverings remain a requirement and social distancing practices are strongly recommended at all times, regardless of any vaccination status. Those face coverings should be worn while in the stadium, with the exception of eating or drinking.
All gates will open at noon, and seating is reserved with no general admission seating available. Tickets are available in a first-come, first-served basis for $10 each online at WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800-WVUGAME.
All tickets will be delivered via mobile ticketing. Tickets are primarily available in blocks of two and four sets together.
Fans hoping to attend the game are asked to use the online or phone methods for ticket purchase to avoid lines at the ticket windows or availability issues on the day of the game.
A portion of the proceeds once again will benefit WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital.

Under coach Neal Brown, WVU is coming off a 2020 season in which it finished 6-4 overall and 4-4 in the Big 12 Conference.
The Mountaineers scored regular-season wins over Eastern Kentucky, Baylor, Kansas, Kansas State and TCU before capping its season with a 24-21 triumph over Army in the Liberty Bowl on Dec. 31.
