Justin Huss is primed for a big junior season at Washington & Jefferson.

The running back and return specialist out of Derry was named to the Division III Preseason Starting Lineup, which is presented by College Football America Yearbook — one of 27 players from NCAA Division III to make the list.

He was picked as a kick returner.

Only Huss and Westminster sophomore defensive back Brice Butler made it from the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.

Huss finished third last season in Division III in kickoff returns, averaging 34.6 yards per return.

He was a Hansen Ratings First Team All-American and also earned All-Region 2 Second Team honors from D3football.com. He made the All-PAC First Team.

He rushed for 254 yards on 25 carries and added 28 receptions for 245 yards and a touchdown.

Washington & Jefferson: Jaden Datz (Southmoreland) will return for a fifth season. Datz, who enrolled into a graduate program, finished 30-6 last season. He won a PAC championship at 174 pounds and reached the NCAA Division III Championships where he went 1-2.
