T.J. Watt is under contract through 2025. On Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers retained their “other” All-Pro.
Special-teams ace Miles Killebrew agreed to a two-year, $6.5 million deal to remain with the Steelers, according to a league source. Killebrew joined edge defender Watt as Steelers representation on the AP All-Pro team for the 2023 season.
The special-teams captain last season, Killebrew blocked a punt for a safety during an October win against the rival Baltimore Ravens. That was his third blocked punt over his three seasons with the Steelers since coming over from the Detroit Lions.
Killebrew also got a piece of a punt during a December game against the New England Patriots. Although it was not an official block, the kick traveled just 11 yards and set up a fourth-quarter Steelers touchdown.

For the season, Killebrew was credited with 13 special-teams tackles, one off the league lead. A safety by trade, Killebrew also played 10% of the Steelers’ defensive snaps this past season. He was on the field almost 40% of the time during the final three games of the regular season when the Steelers’ safety corps was decimated by injury and suspension.
Killebrew is a nine-year NFL veteran who will turn 31 in May. He agreed to terms a day after the San Francisco 49ers signed their special-teams standout, George Odum, to a two-year, $10 million contract.
