Sidney Crosby scores for Canada in win against France

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Sidney Crosby scored a power-play goal for Canada in a 5-0 win against France in a preliminary round game in the International Ice Hockey Federation’s (IIHF) World Championship tournament at Avicii Arena in Stockholm on Tuesday.

Opening the contest as Canada’s second-line center, Crosby recorded two shots and was 5 for 12 (41.6%) on faceoffs while logging 16:44 of ice time on 18 shifts.

Canada’s next game is against Austria on Thursday, 2:20 p.m.
