Jalen Hawkins led Robert Morris with 17 points, and Sayveon McEwen chipped in 13, but it wasn’t enough as the men’s basketball team lost to Youngstown State, 81-70, on Wednesday at Beeghly Center in Youngstown, Ohio.

Hawkins, coming off the bench, also led the team with a career-high seven rebounds.

The Colonials had 13 turnovers and shot just 40.6% from the field. They were outrebounded 39-30.

Robert Morris continues its three-game road trip Saturday at Florida Gulf Coast University.
