The Robert Morris men’s basketball team Tuesday night learned who its quarterfinal-round opponent will be in the Horizon League Tournament.

The top-seeded Colonials (23-8) will play host to No. 8 Wright State (15-17) at 8 p.m. Thursday in the second game of a doubleheader at UPMC Events Center.

In the first game, the fourth-seeded RMU women’s team will entertain No. 5 Northern Kentucky at 5:30 p.m.

Wright State, which beat No. 9 IU Indianapolis, 98-85, on Tuesday night in a men’s first-round game behind Jack Doumbia’s double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds, will face Robert Morris having split a pair of games during the regular season.

Robert Morris kicked off a stretch of 13 victories in its final 14 games with a 75-72 success against the Raiders on Jan. 12 at UPMC Events Center.

The lone loss during the run was a 66-64 decision at Wright State on Feb. 2.
