Can you believe it’s been 20 years since Three Rivers Stadium came crashing down?

The stadium on the North Side (now in section called North Shore) was home to the Steelers and Pirates when they made Pittsburgh the City of Champions, the scene of the Immaculate Reception and Roberto Clemente’s 3,000th and final hit — and so many other incredible moments in sports and music. It was imploded on the morning of Feb. 11, 2001.

Do you remember the rumble that turned Three Rivers into rubble? Did you watch the cloud of smoke cross the rivers and cover the crowd at Point State Park? Do you have memories and memorabilia from a game or concert that you still cherish? We want to hear them and share them.

TribLIVE sports reporters Chris Adamski, Jerry DiPaola, Kevin Gorman and Joe Rutter — all Western Pennsylvania natives — will share their favorite stories and invite you to share yours on a Facebook live video, Remembering Three Rivers, starting at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

You can watch, listen and join in here.
