LF Joshua Palacios (.257) smacked a grand slam and was 3 for 3 with two doubles, five RBIs and three runs scored. 3B Andres Alvarez (.268) was 2 for 4 with four RBIs, including a three-run homer. SS Nick Yorke (.333) was 2 for 5. CF Jack Suwinski (.224) doubled. RHP Mike Burrows (4.03) started and allowed four runs on five hits with three walks and two strikeouts in three innings. LHP Michael Plassmeyer (5-10, 7.46) earned the win after allowing three hits in 2 1/3 scoreless innings.

RHP Brad Case (3-1, 3.12) earned the win after allowing one hit in 2 1/3 scoreless innings with a walk and two strikeouts.
