INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 83-62) managed just two singles in a 5-0 loss to Gwinnett (Braves). RF Jase Bowen (.268) and 1B Jesus Castillo (.167) each went 1 for 3. RHP Beau Burrows (1-2, 6.20) started a bullpen game for Indy, giving up two runs on one hit in 1⅓ innings to take the loss. Three days after his streak of 18 consecutive innings without allowing a hit ended Sunday, RHP Brandan Bidois pitched a perfect eighth. He has thrown 20 consecutive scoreless innings and hasn’t allowed a run since July 29 while with Altoona. RHP Wilkin Ramos (5.79) allowed one run on two hits in 1⅔ innings. LHP Hunter Barco (3.79) gave up one run on one hit in two innings with three walks and two strikeouts. RHP Jack Little allowed one run on two hits with three strikeouts in two innings.
