C Brett Sullivan (.214) went 2 for 4 with a triple, three RBIs and a run scored. 2B Tsung Che-Cheng (.222) went 1 for 4 with a double and an RBI. RF Nick Yorke (.268) went 2 for 4. 1B Darick Hall (.211) went 2 for 4 with a run scored.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 43-45) beat Akron (Guardians), 6-5, on a walk-off RBI double by Duce Gourson in the bottom of the ninth. Gourson (.246) went 3 for 4 with a triple and a run scored. 1B Nick Cimillo (.218) went 2 for 3 with a two-run homer, his seventh, a triple, a walk, two runs scored and four RBIs. CF Mitch Jebb (.258) went 2 for 4 with a run scored. 2B Termarr Johnson (.248) went 1 for 3 with a double, walk and run scored. C Omar Alfonzo (.186) went 1 for 3 with an RBI. RHP Antwone Kelly (1.77) started and went five innings, allowing two runs on two hits, including a homer, with two walks and four strikeouts. RHP Beau Burrows (1-1, 0.49) pitched a scoreless ninth to earn the win.

LHP Reinold Navarro (27.00) started and recorded two outs, giving up two runs on no hits and four walks. RHP Jonawel Valdez (4.10) came on and pitched 2⅓ innings of no-hit relief. RHP Carlos Castillo (4.50) pitched two scoreless innings. LHP Magdiel Cotto (2.70) threw a scoreless inning with three walks. RHP Jack Noble (0-3, 6.00) gave up two runs on three hits and a walk in 1⅔ innings.
