INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 49-56) lost 8-4 to Nashville (Brewers). RHP Aaron Shortridge (1-1, 5.06) started and was touched up for seven runs on eight hits and two walks in four innings. LHP Michael Plassmeyer (8.21) pitched two scoreless innings. 1B Malcom Nunez (.267) went 1 for 3 with his 11th homer. RF Matt Gorski (.245) went 1 for 4 with his 17th homer. 2B Nick Yorke (.319) went 2 for 3 with a walk and a run scored. SS Liover Peguero (.252) went 1 for 2 with a doubles, two walks and a run scored. CF Jack Suwinski (.196) went 0 for 5 with two strikeouts.

Next: Wednesday at Nashville (Brewers), 7:35 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 44-59) and Portland (Diamondbacks) each had eight hits, but the Curve lost 7-0. 1B Nick Cimillo (.286) went 3 for 3 with the team’s only extra-base hit, a double. DH Yoyner Fajardo (.307) went 1 for 4 with his 14th stolen base. LHP Dominic Perachi (0-2, 5.14) started and allowed three runs, two earned, on four hits and three walks in three innings. RHP Justin Meis (6.61) gave up four runs on two hits and three walks in 2⅓ innings. RHP Emmanuel Chapman (3.72) and RHP Jack Carey (3.52) each threw a scoreless inning.

Next: Wednesday at Portland (Diamondbacks), 6 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 60-42) took care of Rome (Braves), 9-5. DH Omar Alfonzo, playing his first game for the Grasshoppers after a promotion from Bradenton, went 4 for 4 with a two-run homer and four RBIs. 2B Mitch Jebb (.248) went 4 for 4 with a double, an RBI, three runs scored and his 31st stolen base. SS Termarr Johnson (.244) went 1 for 4 with a walk and two runs scored. RHP Wilber Dotel (8-4, 5.48) started and went six innings, allowing three runs on six hits. He walked none and struck out six. RHP Elijah Birdsong (4.32) threw two scoreless innings, allowing two hits and a walk with three strikeouts.

Next: Wednesday vs. Rome (Braves), noon

BRADENTON (Low-A, 42-61) beat St. Lucie (Mets), 9-5. RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.230) went 1 for 4 with his 17th home run, a walk and two runs scored. C Justin Miknis (.171) went 1 for 2 with a double and three RBIs. 1B Axiel Plaz (.208) went 1 for 3 with two RBIs. RHP Zander Mueth (3.86) started and gave up three runs, none earned, on one hit and five walks in 2⅔ innings. LHP Inmer Lobo (1.69) pitched 2⅓ scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk, to earn the win. RHP Carlos Jimenez (3.83) and RHP Peyton Stumbo (4.94) each threw a scoreless inning.
