ALTOONA (Double-A, 53-71) defeated New Hampshire (Blue Jays), 7-5, in 10 innings thanks to a walk-off three run home run by RF Matt Fraizer (.235). The homer was Frazier’s fourth of the season. CF Sammy Siani (.253) hit his fifth home run with a solo shot in the bottom of the second. LF Yoyner Fajardo (.311) drove in two runs with a double in the bottom of the seventh. RHP Po-Yu Chen (4.08) tossed five shutout innings while allowing two hits and one walk and tallying four strikeouts. RHP Grant Ford (4-2, 4.01) earned the victory in relief as he allowed a run on one hit and two walks while striking out three.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 70-52) fell to Rome (Braves), 7-4, in a 10-inning affair. C Shawn Ross (.196) knocked in two runs with a triple in the top of the eighth. LF Luke Brown (.182) drew a walk as a wild pitch allowed Ross to score. RHP Wilber Dotel (5.49) went 4⅔ innings while allowing three hits and one earned run with one walk and six strikeouts. RHP Mike Walsh (1.74), RHP Darvin Garcia (4.60), RHP Ryan Harbin (5.75) each had scoreless appearances.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 52-71) lost 9-6 to Tampa (Rays). LF Shalin Polanco (.184) belted his 11th homer of the season. C Justin Miknis (.195) went 2-3 with four RBIs, including a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the sixth. SS Yordany De Los Santos (.164) drew a bases-loaded walk and tallied a single. RHP Antwone Kelly (1-6, 4.36) went 3⅔ innings, allowing seven hits and five earned runs with three walks and two strikeouts.
