LHP Ryan Borucki (5.40) and RHP Carmen Mlodzinski (6.00) each pitched a scoreless inning. RHP Colin Holderman (7.71) gave up one hit, a solo home run, in an inning. LHP Brady Feigl (3.91) pitched two scoreless innings, giving up one hit and two walks. LHP Geronimo Franzua (4-6, 4.94) took the loss when the automatic runner scored on a ground-rule double in the 11th. Indianapolis was held to four hits. CF Nick Yorke (.325) went 2 for 4 with an RBI. 2B Nick Gonzales (.358) went 1 for 3. 1B Billy Cook (.294) went 1 for 5.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 48-67) scored four runs in the final three innings to beat Richmond (Giants), 7-5. 2B Kervin Pichardo (.270) went 1 for 4 with his 10th homer, a two-run shot, a walk and two runs scored. SS Tsung-Che Cheng (.224) went 1 for 4 with a two-run homer, his 11th, and a walk. 3B Mike Jarvis (.130) went 2 for 5 with a double and two runs scored. RF Matt Fraizer (.231) went 2 for 5 with a run scored and an RBI. CF Jase Bowen (.237) went 1 for 4 with a double, two stolen bases and a run scored. LHP Anthony Solometo (6.33) started and gave up three runs, two earned, on two hits and four walks in 4⅓ innings. He fanned five. RHP Jack Carey (5-2, 3.86) pitched 2⅓ scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk, to earn the win. RHP Eddy Yean (3.90) got the final out for his third save.

LHP Magdiel Cotto (0.00) and RHP Jaycob Deese (6.64) each threw a scoreless inning. The Grasshoppers were held to four hits. 1B Omar Alfonzo (.222) went 2 for 3 with a run scored. 2B Termarr Johnson (.235) went 1 for 4. C Shawn Ross (.187) was 1 for 2 with a double and a walk.
