The Pittsburgh Penguins reassigned forward Jesse Puljujarvi to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League on Wednesday afternoon.

Puljujarvi, 26, has been relegated to healthy scratch status of late and last dressed for the Penguins on Jan. 29 against Utah Hockey Club.

That lone appearance followed a recall from the AHL, with the Penguins having sent Puljujarvi down to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Jan. 14.

The Penguins had also placed Puljujarvi on waivers Dec. 30.

On the year, Puljujarvi has appeared in 26 games for the Penguins, scoring three goals with six assists while averaging 11 minutes, 36 seconds of nightly ice time.

At the AHL level, he has a goal with two assists for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Puljujarvi is signed through the 2024-25 campaign for a salary cap hit of $800,000, per Puck Pedia.
