Jonnu Smith was an addition to the Pittsburgh Steelers injury report, but Jaylen Warren got over his illness and is well back on track to play in the team’s playoff opener.

Smith, a veteran tight end, was listed as limited at Friday’s practice on the injury report. Smith has a glute injury.

The Steelers are without their most-used tight end, Darnell Washington, who went on the injured reserve list two weeks ago after suffering a broken forearm. The Steelers still have two other veteran tight ends in Pat Freiermuth and Connor Heyward.

Warren, the starting running back, did not attend practice Thursday because of illness. Spotted in a mask and wearing surgical gloves Thursday — likely in an effort to keep the rest of the team healthy — Warren was back as a full practice participant Friday. He was doing media interviews and interacting with teammates, a strong indication there is no reason to worry about his availability for Monday’s wild-card game at home against the Houston Texans.

In his first practice in 17 weeks and on the day he was cleared to return to the practice field, defensive tackle Isaiahh Loudermilk was listed as a limited participant.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers (wrist), outside linebacker T.J. Watt (lung), receiver Ben Skowronek (hand) and long snapper Christian Kuntz (knee) remain listed on the injury report but are practicing fully with ailments that did not prevent them from playing in this past Sunday’s game.
