Four Franklin Regional youth wrestlers stood on the podium March 20 at the Keystone State Wrestling championships in Erie.

The tournament featured some of the top wrestlers in Pennsylvania in the 6U, 8U, 10U and 12U divisions.

Beau Fennick took first place in the 12U, 90-pound division.

“Beau won the tournament with several dominating performances,” coach Mike McGuire said. “Beau stood out as one of the best wrestlers at the tournament. We expect Beau to continue his success in junior high and high school.”

Jaxon Frisk placed third in the 6U, 41-pound weight class after winning, 6-0, in the consolation round. Micky McGuire placed fourth at 51 pounds in the 6U division. He won 4-1 in the consolation round.

Also, Weston Magilson finished seventh in the 8U, 55-pound class. He got a takedown in the final second to secure a win in the consolation round.
