Former Pottsgrove running back Rahsul Faison had options to where he would play his senior season, including for Bill Belichick at North Carolina.

Ultimately, Faison announced this week he would be suiting up for South Carolina.

Faison spent his first three years at Pottsgrove before becoming a two-star recruit by 247 Sports at Salisbury High School in Connecticut.

He’s had a long journey committing to Lackawanna College in 2020, and then Marshall University in 2021, he didn’t play a game with either program.

He saw his first collegiate action in 2022 with Snow College in Utah where he rushed for 355 yards and six touchdowns.

Faison transferred once again to Utah State in 2023 where he rushed for 1,845 yards and 13 touchdowns in his two seasons as an Aggie.

After entering the portal as a four-star transfer on Dec. 23, Faison has now found a home with the Gamecocks.
