Former Penguins forward Dustin Jeffrey has signed with Grizzlys Wolfsburg of Germany’s Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).

The team announced Jeffrey’s contract via a release on Monday.

A sixth-round pick (No. 171 overall) of the Penguins in 2007, Jeffrey spent parts of six seasons with the Penguins in the late 2000s and early 2010s. In 100 games with the Penguins, Jeffrey scored 28 points (15 goals, 13 assists).

He also played briefly for the Dallas Stars and Arizona Coyotes.

For the past six seasons, the 34-year-old Jeffrey, a native of Sarnia, Ont., has played in Switzerland’s top-tier National League.
