Dae Dae Grant, Duquesne’s leading scorer in men’s basketball last season while leading the Dukes to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 47 years, has signed a professional contract with KK Feniks 2010 Skopje of the First League North Macedonia.
The 6-foot-2 guard is the sixth former Duquesne player to ink a pro contract in the past four months, joining forwards Tre Williams, Andre Savrasov and Dusan Mahorcic and guards Tevin Brewer and Jimmy Clark III.
All but Brewer played for the Dukes a year ago.
Grant led Duquesne in 2023-24 with an average of 16.4 points per game and earned All-Atlantic 10 second-team honors.
He also led the A-10 and ranked third in Division I in free-throw percentage, knocking down 146 of 155 attempts (94.2%).
Grant twice last season established a new program record for consecutive free throws made, sinking 43 in a row during the nonconference portion of the schedule before breaking his own record with 46 consecutive later in the year.
He was named the A-10 Tournament Most Outstanding Player after averaging 16.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.8 steals in helping Duquesne to four victories in five days at New York’s Barclays Center, where the Dukes defeated VCU in the championship game for their first league title since 1977.
Grant, who played three seasons at Miami (Ohio) and two at Duquesne, finished his college career with 2,241 points.
