This seems appropriate.

Philadelphia Flyers fans who may be looking to get, oh, maybe 44 years or so of frustration out (1975, anyone?) now have the chance to do it at their team’s home arena.

The “Disassembly Room” is a first-of-its-kind “rage room” inside Wells Fargo Center that will offer fans the chance to do their own damage.

Flyers mascot Gritty helped christen it.

“The concept is definitely one-of-a-kind and non-traditional,” said Valerie Camillo, president of business operations of Philadelphia Flyers and the Wells Fargo Center. “We ran the concept by some of our fans who told us they thought this would be a fresh way to have some harmless fun. I had never heard of a rage room before the design team pitched the idea. Now, I can’t wait to get in there and take a few whacks.”

Fans can schedule sessions in advance. While wearing protective gear, they can smash and relieve their rage on things like TVs, dishes and mirrors with bats and sledgehammers. Rooms can be rented for $35 per person or $60 for a group of two.

The Disassembly Room debuted Wednesday for a game against the New Jersey Devils.
