Duquesne coach Dru Joyce III added Brazilian guard Lucas Prollo to the Dukes’ 2024-25 men’s basketball roster, bringing to six the number of transfers joining the team. He will join the Dukes as a preferred walk-on, according to Brazilian journalist Arthur Salazar.

Prollo (6-foot-2) played last season at Missouri State West Plains, a junior college, where he averaged 7.1 points per game before a foot injury and subsequent surgery ended his season after 11 games (nine starts).

He also has spent time at the AZ Compass prep school in Chandler, Ariz.

In his native Brazil, Prollo played on the Corinthians, a team from Sao Paulo, where he scored 47 points in one game while shooting 8 of 12 from 3-point range.

Prollo is one of several players Joyce is adding to the roster in his first season as head coach. Also transferring to Duquesne this year are Elijah Wilborn (St. Francis), former Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year Maximus Edwards (George Washington), forwards Alex Williams (Furman) and Jahsean Corbett (Chicago State) and guards Cameron Crawford (Marshall) and Tre Dinkins (Canisius).
