What happens when Brennan Marion’s “Go-Go” offense meets the “High Octane” style of former Pitt coach Todd Graham?

We’re about to find out … in Hawaii?

Talk about somewhere over the rainbow.

Marion, the Greensburg Salem alum whose uptempo scheme has worked at several other places, is leaving William & Mary, where he was the offensive coordinator, to become the wide receivers coach on Graham’s staff at the University of Hawaii.

Marion, 32, is set to reconnect with Graham, who was introduced as the Rainbow Warriors’ head man on Jan. 21. Marion not only played for Graham at Tulsa but he also was his quality control coach at Arizona State in 2015.

He leaves William & Mary after one season, a short stint that followed two seasons at Howard, where he also served as the OC.

William & Mary improved its offensive average by 100 yards per game with Marion, a former star wideout at Tulsa, calling the plays.

He also goes from a FCS program to one at the FBS level.

“Coach Marion brings great knowledge, experience a dynamic innovative coaching mind to our program,” Graham said in a news release. “Having been an innovator as a wide receiver coach and offensive coordinator, coach Marion also was a explosive playmaker at wide receiver in our program and holds the NCAA record for the most yards per catch in NCAA history. He has an amazing story of overcoming adversity to achieve great success. We are fired up to welcome coach Marion.”

Howard saw significant bumps in its offensive production when Marion installed the “Go-Go” offense, of which he wrote a book about last year.

He also was invited to the NFL coaching summit last spring.
