Former Steeler Antonio Brown returned to Pittsburgh on Tuesday to appeal a reckless driving charge from last year when he sped down McKnight Road at more than 100 mph.

“To all my fans in Pittsburgh who never got to say goodbye, I’m here today in the Downtown Pittsburgh courthouse,” Brown said in a short Instagram story posted late Tuesday morning.

He encouraged fans to stop by.

The summary appeal hearing ended with Brown’s charge knocked down to the lesser charge of driving at unsafe speeds.

Brown was found guilty of the reckless driving charge in February when he failed to appear for a summary trial in West View.

The reckless driving charge came in November, the morning before the Steelers took on the Carolina Panthers. A Ross police officer patrolling McKnight Road after a bank robbery spotted Brown’s black Porsche speeding south near Babcock Boulevard.

Brown was traded to the Oakland Raiders at the start of the NFL offseason after a tumultuous falling out with the Steelers.
