After suffering a bacterial infection, last week former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch announced that he is as close to being back to 100% as he can be.

In the post, that was posted on his LinkedIn and Twitter account Wednesday evening, Batch thanked everyone who had sent him well wishes and prayers while he struggled with the illness. He added that he would not wish what he went through on anyone. He concluded the post by saying that he would be relaxing throughout the holiday and would resume normal activities on Monday. He also wished his followers a Happy Fourth of July, and reminded everyone to hydrate.

Last week, after traveling to Mexico City for youth football camps and then to Slippery Rock University and St. Vincent’s College, Batch posted to his LinkedIn page that he had been admitted into the hospital after suffering from a bacterial infection (possibly E. coli) and severe dehydration.
