Steelers to open NFL playoffs on ‘Monday Night Football’

The AFC North champion Pittsburgh Steelers have another primetime game ahead.

The fifth-seeded Houston Texans will visit Pittsburgh in a wild-card round game Jan. 12 for a “Monday Night Football” matchup. The game is an 8 p.m. kickoff on ESPN and ABC.

The TV schedule was announced Sunday night during the Steelers-Ravens regular-season finale. The Steelers were crowned AFC North champions while the Ravens’ season came to a close.

Saturday’s games on Wild Card weekend include the Los Angeles Rams at Carolina at 4:30 p.m. (Fox) and Green Bay at Chicago at 8 p.m. (Prime Video).

Sunday’s slate features Buffalo at Jacksonville at 1 p.m. (CBS), San Francisco at Philadelphia at 4:30 p.m. (Fox) and the Los Angeles Chargers at New England at 8 p.m. (NBC).

The Steelers announced after the game that a limited number of tickets are available at steelers.com/tickets.
