Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman Adam Frazier will go into the All-Star break with a National League Player of the Week award under his belt.

In a week when the Pirates won series against the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers, Frazier had 18 hits. He recorded multiple hits in five of the seven games.

He also drove in seven runs. Frazier started the week with a five-hit performance against the Cubs that included four doubles and two RBIs in an 18-5 win July 1. The former Mississippi State standout followed that with a four-hit, three-RBI outing that propelled the Pirates to a 5-1 victory over the Cubs.

Frazier is hitting .287 this season with 89 hits, four home runs, 26 RBIs and 49 runs scored. He began last week hitting .266.
