On behalf of myself and fellow Greensburg Walmart co-workers of Elizabeth Pollard, we would like to thank everyone who donated and supported the GoFundMe fundraiser for Liz, who tragically died after falling into a sinkhole in Marguerite.
Liz was a beloved friend to so many who worked with her. She loved working in retail and was known for putting others’ needs before her own.
Liz’s Walmart friends knew we had to step in for both her husband Kenny and her granddaughter Serenity. We raised over $10,000 in donations from many kind and generous individuals, which went toward paying for her funeral expenses.
I want to thank my friends and family who supported me through this process because, as the saying goes, “No good deed goes unpunished.” The greatest good of humanity, and the true spirit of Christmas, is to give to those in need. Thank you again to all who donated.
