It’s after Labor Day. Bishop Larry Kulick of the Greensburg diocese took hasty action days after Memorial Day. I believe Kulick chose to follow the faithless path instead of leading by Christian example.

Kulick quickly condemned a humble servant of God, a hard-working, two-parish pastor and knowledgeable school administrator, our unjustly accused Father John Moineau.

We, former/remaining parishioners, have questions for Kulick since Father John was investigated and exonerated of the bishop’s conspiracy suspicions. We await answers.

Why was it necessary to go immediately to the media, without all the facts, when the reputation of the Catholic Church is already so compromised?

Why did the Greensburg diocese choose to judge a person guilty until proven innocent?

We believe that Kulick should acknowledge his part in any conceived paperwork error. Any punitive action should be directed from middle management upward and not just trickled downward.

We pray for the reinstatement of Father John to again be a parish priest for the benefit of many Christian believers.
