What do holidays cost?

OK, so the Fourth of July is not exactly Christmastime, but we do our fair share of spending, anyway.

Research shows Americans will spend nearly $10 billion on various Fourth of July festivities, from barbecues to fireworks.

About $1.6 billion will be spent on beer and wine, with $1 billion spent on beer alone.
