President Joe Biden is returning to Pittsburgh this upcoming weekend, the White House reported Wednesday evening.
Biden will travel to Pittsburgh for political engagements on Saturday, according to the White House.
It will be the third visit to Pittsburgh this year, following a political speech at the United Steelworkers building in Downtown Pittsburgh in April and a Labor Day rally with union members in September.
A location and time for Saturday’s event has not been released.
Biden dropped out of the presidential race in July following a poor debate performance. He then endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to take his place.
Since, Harris, former President Donald Trump and their running mates have placed a massive focus on the Pittsburgh region. The area has attracted more visits than any other in the country.
Just last week saw three visits from the presidential tickets: Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz rallied at Acrisure Stadium, Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance gave a speech in Downtown Pittsburgh, and Trump rallied in Westmoreland County and watched the Steelers game.
Harris and Trump are locked in a tight race nationally and in Pennsylvania, the country’s largest swing state with 19 crucial votes in the Electoral College.
A recent Morning Consult poll shows Harris slightly ahead of Trump, 50% to 48%, among likely voters in Pennsylvania.
