A man was found with a stab wound in his neck late Saturday in Pittsburgh’s Brighton Heights neighborhood.

Pittsburgh police officers were dispatched to the 300 block of McClure Avenue around 10 p.m., according to Emily Bourne, public information officer for Pittsburgh Public Safety. The man who had been stabbed was alert and conscious, Bourne said, but he was not cooperative with police.

The man was transported in stable condition to a local hospital by Pittsburgh EMS. He left the hospital before receiving additional care, Bourne said.

Pittsburgh police are continuing to investigate the incident.
