A McKeesport woman was shot and killed on Tuesday night in Braddock.
Pennsylvania State Police said the woman was shot once in the chest at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday night and was taken to Forbes Hospital where she died a short time later.
The woman was identified as Sade Lanise Brown, 33, on Thursday by the Allegheny County medical examiner’s office.
State Police said police and EMS crews were called to the 500 block of Pine Way.
Police are still looking for the gunman. Pennsylvania State Police are leading the investigation and suspect it was a possible drive-by shooting.
“We didn’t find any shell casings near by,” state trooper Rocco Gagliardi said. “We’re looking at every camera in the area. Hopefully we’ll pick up something.”
