Jeannette police are investigating an alleged assault by numerous juveniles who injured a man on South Sixth Street Sunday night.

Investigators have several people of interest, and are reviewing security footage of the incident, according to Police Chief Shannon Binda.

Police will not release more details about the alleged assault until charges are filed, Binda said.

The cause of the altercation, the identity of the suspects and the condition of the victim are unknown.
