Shake off the post-holiday blues this weekend with some rest, relaxation and fun. Here are a few events to get you going around Westmoreland County.
Twelfth Night Celebration
If you aren’t ready to let go of the holidays just yet, join Fort Ligonier for this Twelfth Night celebration on Saturday. It might come in just a tad late — technically, Twelfth Night, or Epiphany, falls on Jan. 6 — but this is still a good time for sending off the Christmas holidays.
Though it isn’t celebrated as much these days, this January celebration was more common in Britain and in the early days of America, hence its importance at Fort Ligonier. The celebration will include period music from the Wayward Companions, dancing and delicious food. That includes the traditional Twelfth Night Cake, so don’t miss getting a taste of the confection, which is based on Martha Washington’s recipe.
Come have a drink, put on your best 18th century attire or evening wear and see who gets crowned king and queen. The party will go from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Fort Ligonier, 200 S. Bee Gees tribute
It might be cold outside, but the Palace Theatre is going to heat up with disco fever this Saturday night. The New York Bee Gees will bring a whole set of ’70s smash hits to the stage in a high-octane performance.
The Long Island-based group is made up of renowned and experienced musicians who are dedicated to the craft of tunes such as “Stayin’ Alive” and “Night Fever.” Along with the Bee Gees tribute, Nikki Torres will be performing the hits of the queen of disco, Donna Summer, for an extra blast from the past.

Wedding expo
The Greensburg Garden and Civic Center is hosting its third annual wedding expo this Sunday to help all brides- and grooms-to-be plan their perfect day.
Whether you need a dress, flowers, a DJ, a honeymoon or a cake, this is the place to find all of your vendors in one place and see the newest trends in fashion, decor and more. A wide range of professionals will be present to help you with your needs, whether you’re having a casual backyard party or a massive formal affair. More than 40 businesses will be present.

Comedy night
Get lots of laughs in this weekend at Club Pure Imagination in Irwin with a whole showcase of local comedy talent. Eat, drink and be merry with this Saturday night show perfect for date night or meeting up with friends.
Hosting the show will be comedian David Kaye, while others on the bill include Chuckie Lewis, Ridge Hershberger and Ty Mac. In addition to the show, there will be a cash bar and food available for purchase throughout the evening.

Noah Hicks in concert
Country music fans won’t want to miss rising star Noah Hicks at Live Casino Pittsburgh in Hempfield. The Georgia native will bring his gritty, compelling storytelling through song to the stage at the PBR Pittsburgh venue in the casino.
Harkening back to an earlier time in country music, Hicks strips away the artifice and brings a warmth and vulnerability to his songs that will please music fans of all ages. Morgan Gruber will open the show.
