The holidays are upon us. You may have out-of-town relatives who need some entertainment, or maybe you need a break from the hustle and bustle but want to stay in the Christmas spirit. Either way, here are a few things to do this weekend:

Seton Hill Lights stroll

One of the best low-stress activities to do around the holidays is looking at and enjoying light displays and decorations. This Sunday, locals can go to Seton Hill University to see just how decked the halls are.

Guests can wander through the administrative building and the Greensburg room to see lovely displays. Then, head over to Lowe dining hall, where cookies, hot cocoa and a selfie with Santa await. This is a great chance to get an infusion of cheer on a Sunday evening right before Christmas.

The event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Seton Hill University, Seton Hill Drive, Greensburg. To learn more and register, visit alumni.setonhill.edu.

‘White Christmas’ at The Lamp Theatre

On Saturday, patrons will get two opportunities to see the classic film “White Christmas” at The Lamp Theatre in Irwin.

For the earlier sing-along performance, attendees will enjoy live performances by Stage Right as well as youth activities and a visit from Santa. The crowd can sing along with the many classic songs included in the movie. VIP admission will begin at 12:30 p.m. and general admission will begin at 1 p.m., with the movie kicking off at 2 p.m.

The later showing is an immersive movie experience called “White Christmas Comes Alive.” The movie will come to life around you. VIP admission begins at 5:30 p.m., with general admission at 6 p.m. and movie at 7 p.m.

For both shows, VIP tickets (which include the early admission, popcorn and a small gift) is $36 and general admission is $26. Both showings will have photo opportunities, themed cocktails for purchase and more. Showings will take place at the Lamp Theatre, 222 Main St., Irwin. To get tickets, visit lamptheatre.org.

Holiday-themed parties at Live Casino

Live Casino in Hempfield will give you two chances to dress up in your festive best this weekend and enjoy an adults-only party to blow off some steam during the season.

On Friday night, dig out your most outrageous ugly Christmas sweater for a late-night party that will be full of laughs, great music and maybe even a prize for the ugliest sweater of them all. On Saturday night, get cozy and ready to party in your favorite holiday pajamas before heading out to Live Casino for another party full of tunes, tasty drinks and holiday cheer.

Both parties will be held from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. The Ugly Sweater Party will be held at Sports & Social Steel City and PBR Pittsburgh, and the Christmas Pajama Party will be held at PBR Pittsburgh, both in Live Casino, 5260 Route 30, Hempfield. Learn more at livech.com/Pittsburgh.
