Westmoreland parks and trails will benefit from ticket sales to two stand-up comedy shows coming to the Live Casino in Hempfield.
The Venue at the casino will host the comedy fundraisers on March 6 and 7. Proceeds from the first night will benefit the nonprofit Westmoreland Parks and Recreation Citizen Advisory Board. Proceeds from the second night will benefit the Westmoreland Heritage and Five Star trails.
Each show will feature professional touring comedians, 50/50 drawings, basket auctions, a cash bar and more. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the shows are recommended for adults age 21 and older.
Tickets are $40 and will not be sold at the door. They are available by calling the parks and recreation office at 724-830-3959 (cash or checks only). Business sponsorships, ranging from $50 to $300, are also available.
Attendees who register as Live Casino members will receive $10 in free play.
The casino is at 5260 Route 30 in Hempfield.
