Someone who bought a Cash 5 lottery ticket in Hempfield is a quarter million dollars richer, state lottery officials announced.

On Monday, one of two winning tickets for the $500,000 prize was sold at the Hempfield Square Giant Eagle, 6204 U.S. Route 30, the lottery reported. The second winning ticket was sold at Cue Nique Inc., 505 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg. The winning tickets will split the prize, with each being worth $250,000.

Each ticket matched all five balls drawn: 02-07-12-18-22.

Each retailer will receive a $500 selling bonus.

The lottery said Cash 5 prizes expire one year from the drawing date. Anyone holding a jackpot-winning Cash 5 ticket should sign the ticket and contact the nearest lottery office for further instructions or call 1-800-692-7481.

More than 38,400 other Cash 5 tickets won prizes in the drawing.
