Two new businesses are hiring in Hyde Park Plaza, Allegheny Township.

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet and Dollar Tree have signs posted with contact information for potential employees.

The stores are located where a former Big Kmart once occupied about 85,000 square feet of retail space.

Township officials have not provided opening dates for the businesses, nor has plaza developer Jeff Paul of Paul Property Management, based in Pittsburgh.

The Kmart exterior was demolished and reconstructed. It now sports a new facade.

Upgrades to the plaza are ongoing and have included sealing the parking lot; installing new LED canopy lights, a new roof and updated landscaping.
