State police are looking for an Indiana County man who went missing, after telling coworkers he planned to go hunting with his dogs after work on Monday.
Bryan J. Bialas, 45, of Conemaugh Township, was reported missing by coworkers on Wednesday. He is known to hunt in the Apollo and Iselin areas, possibly on state game lands and private property, troopers said. They also liked to hunt in the Allegheny National Forest and law enforcement in that area is helping to search for him.
Bialas’ green 2005 Jeep Wrangler and two dogs are missing from his home. Investigators don’t suspect foul play.
He is described as a thin, white man who stands about 6 feet, 1 inch tall with brown eyes, a beard and long brown hair he sometimes has in a ponytail. Bialas typically parks his SUV along gas well roads and often wears a hunting hard hat with an attached spotlight, according to police.
Any property owner who has given him permission to hunt on their property is being asked to check their land and contact state police in Indiana at 724-357-1960. Anyone with information on Bialas’ whereabouts is asked to call 911.
