A Shaler man agreed Tuesday to stand trial for having about six bricks of suspected heroin when he was pulled over last month along Route 28 in South Buffalo.

Anthony Donell Rue, 40, of Center Street, waived charges to court in the courtroom of District Judge J. Gary Decomo.

He has been held in the Armstrong County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond since Sept. 18.

State police said Rue was found with 300 individual stamp bags of heroin and a marijuana blunt during a traffic stop.

Rue is accused of felony drug delivery or intent to deliver, as well as possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Defense attorney Debra L. Yost wasn’t available for comment.
