A suspicious vehicle investigation in Kiski Township ended with one teen charged for allegedly knocking an officer to the ground and another facing drug charges, authorities said.

A township officer spotted what he deemed to be two suspicious cars about 6:50 p.m. along Brownstown Road near McCartney Road, according to Sgt. Thomas Dessell.

Two 18-year-olds — Shiaheim Price, of Vandergrift, and Kaleb Watt, of Kiski Township — were detained.

Dessell said Price initially refused to get out of the car. Watt was found to have marijuana and meth on him, police said, and both were taken into custody.

Police said Price became combative when they tried to escort him, handcuffed, to the police cruiser. They said he tried to push and kick the officers, one of whom fell to the ground. The officers involved were not identified in a press release.

Price is charged with simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness. Watt is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Both were processed and released from the police station.
