Pittsburgh police have located two missing Pittsburgh girls who had been missing for almost 24 hours.

Angela Beer, 14, and Roxy Petruzzi, 10, were found safe Thursday night.

They were reported last seen in their Beechview neighborhood on Wednesday at 10 p.m., police said.

According to a Thursday Facebook post from Pittsburgh police, a family member reported the girls left the residence sometime overnight.

They were last identified to be in the Vandergrift area, police said. Police updated the post shortly before 8 p.m. to say the girls were found safe, but they did not say where the girls were located.

Vandergrift police Chief Dan Anthony did not immediately return a request for comment about the search Thursday.
