Allegheny County Medical Examiner Dr. Karl Williams identified Adam Cloud, 29, of New Kensington as the man who was shot and killed on Pittsburgh’s South Side Flats on Saturday night.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Pittsburgh Zone 3 Police officers arrived at the 1000 block of Freyburg Street at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday and found Cloud with gunshot wounds to his chest.

Pittsburgh Public Information Officer Amanda Mueller told WPXI-TV the shooting resulted from a fight outside of OneUp Skate Shop.

A man who did not wish to be identified told WPXI that “one (neighbor) heard two shots and a scream, and that was pretty much it.”

College student Grace Papa, a dog walker in the residential area where the shooting took place, said she was shocked.

“Being a young girl coming here by myself is already scary,” she told the station. “Hearing that makes me a little bit more nervous.”

WPXI reported police were talking to people inside the skate shop at the time to gather information.

Police have yet to make any arrests and the incident remains under investigation.
