Kiski Township police arrested a man on Monday for squatting in a vacant house where they also found stolen items and evidence of drug use.
Officers responding to a call for a suspicious man along Hickory Nut Road in North Apollo shortly after 8:30 p.m. searched the neighborhood and found Sean Jones, 24, of Vandergrift in a vacant home, according to police.
Authorities said Jones broke into the house and was living there. They also found stolen property that previously was reported to Kiski police as well as drug paraphernalia associated with methamphetamine use.
Jones was taken into custody and charged with a felony count of criminal trespass and lesser charges of loitering and prowling at night, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is being detained in the Armstrong County Jail after failing to post a $20,000 cash bond, according to court records.
Jones faces a preliminary hearing on the charges on Nov. 24 before District Judge James Andring.
