Gordmans will hold grand opening events at several former Peebles store locations in the region, including giveaways and donations to area school districts, according to a release.

Ribbon cuttings are set for 9 a.m. Feb. 18 at local stores including Belle Vernon, East Huntingdon, Ellwood City, Allegheny Township, New Castle and Somerset.

The apparel and home decor retailer announced those plans in September.

Gordmans is part of the Stage community of stores. The stores also will offer in-store Amazon counters for secure package pick-up of orders, the release states.

Opening day plans include a Gordmans insulated tote bag and the chance to win a $50 gift card or $5 shopping card for the first 100 patrons in line.

Each store grand opening will include a $1,000 donation to a local school, including Belle Vernon Area High School, Riverside Beaver County School District, Leechburg Middle/Senior High School, Mount Pleasant Area Senior High School and Somerset Area Senior High School.
