4 arrested following fight at North Apollo bar

A man threatening to “shoot officers in the face with his gun” was one of four people arrested early Saturday morning following a fight at a North Apollo bar, police said.

Officers with the Kiski Township Police Department responded to the R Bar, located at 418 16th St., in response to a disturbance.

According to police, Christopher White, 32, of West Leechburg, attempted to start a fight with a crowd in front of the bar. When officers arrived, White resisted arrest while making numerous threats toward officers including that he would kill them, police said.

White was taken to the Armstrong County Jail in Kittanning where he was awaiting arraignment. He is charged with resisting arrest, making terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, failure of a disorderly person to disperse and public drunkenness.

Three other men were arrested for fighting and public drunkenness.They are Myles Caviness, 27, Patrick Davis, 26, both from Vandergrift, and D’Andre Caviness, 24, from Pittsburgh, police said.
