Two men claiming they were sold bad drugs kicked in the rear door of a Harrison apartment Friday and threatened a man inside, according to police.

The men demanded their money back and left after the man inside the apartment called 911, according to criminal complaints filed in the case.

Police arrested Antione B. Jones, 28, of Pittsburgh’s Greenfield neighborhood, and Deonta Antonio Battles, 29, of Statesboro, Ga., in a neighboring apartment. They are accused of burglary, terroristic threats and related charges.

Police said Jones and Battles went to the back door of an apartment in the 200 block of Park Avenue in Sheldon Park at about 6 p.m. They told the man inside they were sold bad marijuana and demanded their money back. The man inside said he wasn’t giving them any money, and the two kicked in the apartment door, breaking the frame, according to police.

Three children and the man were inside the apartment, police said. As Jones and Battles left, they threatened to return and kill the man inside the apartment.

The men are scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Monday in front of Brackenridge District Judge Carolyn Bengel.
