Standoff in Etna ends without incident

No one was injured during a standoff overnight Tuesday in which police blocked off a portion of Freeport Street in Etna, according to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV.

Police were dispatched to the area around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, with SWAT officers responding shortly after.

A standoff lasted about three hours before ending peacefully. Authorities did not release further details about the standoff.
