State police have apprehended a Punxsutawney man wanted in connection with a shooting last week in Indiana County.

Storm Michael Armagost, 27, is charged with possession of a firearm without a license, reckless endangerment of another person, assault and harassment.

Troopers responded to the shooting at an apartment on South Third Street in White Township around 10 p.m. Sept. 28.

A 39-year-old Indiana, Pa., man told police another man fired a pistol at him, but there were no injuries. A second man who was at the apartment said Armagost shot the gun, police said.

Armagost was taken into custody Wednesday by the state police Fugitive Apprehension Unit and was denied bail. He is in Indiana County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Oct. 11.
