Isolated thunderstorms are expected to roll through parts of the region late Monday.
Some of the showers may be strong enough to bring damaging winds and large hail, said Michael Brown, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh.
“It’s typical late-October weather,” Brown said.
Temperatures will be mild early in the day, climbing into the 60s before the rain comes later in the evening.
“It’s not going to be anything widespread but a couple of instances of severe weather are possible,” Brown said.

Conditions won’t be anything like last week, when strong storms toppled trees and knocked down power lines, leaving hundreds without electricity.
The National Weather Service confirmed that at least eight tornadoes touched down in the region last Thursday.
Brown said people can expect a little more rain tomorrow “on the back side of the system” with cooler temperatures in the mid-50s. It will give way to a dry Wednesday with temperatures in the high 50s to low 60s.
Despite the late-day storms, Monday is expected to be the warmest day of the week.
